Aug 16, 2022 · Definitely one of the stranger weapons in Elden Ring, the Jar Cannon belongs to the new Ballista class of weapons. These are the crossbow's version of greatbows in Elden Ring. Unfortunately, they also lack scaling like regular crossbows, but the damage they can inflict is pretty serious. Glass Cannon Mage Build. I currently have 60 int, 12 strength (for moonveil when the occasional close combat is necessary), 20 vigor, 35 mind, 20 Dex, 18 end.The idea is rather simple. Get as many jar-related items as possible and optimize around them. So far I took the Jar Cannon, Jar (helmet), Jar shield. And the Jar Companion Talisman as a must. I have also been experimenting with the throwable jars, and some of them (like the fire jar) could be further improved with, I presume, a Str/Dex build.
